#10: Simplify Your Wardrobe (and life!) with a 10×10 Wardrobe Challenge!

Earlier this year I participated in my first 10×10 wardrobe challenge on Instagram.
A 10×10 wardrobe challenge is a fun way to experiment with dressing with less. The idea is simple: you pick 10 items of clothing to wear for 10 days, making 10 different outfits from the items you choose.
I put together a blog post to share more about what the challenge is, how it works and what the benefits of trying a challenge like this are. Along with more about the process I used to put my 10×10 wardrobe together, and what I learned from the process.
I also shared more about how I put together my 10×10 wardrobe on Instagram if you’re interested in learning even more. Find it in this post and in the stories highlight called 10×10 on my profile page.

#7: Why Decluttering is Important for Self-Care: Choosing Less to Improve Your Well-Being

When we think of self-care, I think many of us think of bubble baths, getting a massage or enjoying an afternoon snuggled up with a good book.
And while those are all ways to practice self-care, self-care includes much more than that.
Sometimes self-care means doing hard things or things you don’t really want to do, but you do anyway because you know they are important and good for you and your well-being.
Some examples are things like getting a yearly check-up with your doctor, flossing your teeth, or making sleep a priority, even when it means turning off your favourite show on Netflix.
At first, it might not seem like decluttering your house has much to do with self-care. But I’ve realized that not only is decluttering your home one way to practice self-care. But decluttering is really important for self-care.
In this post, I’m sharing 8 reasons why clearing the clutter and choosing to own less can help you take better care of yourself – physically, mentally and emotionally!
Clutter impacts your health, happiness & overall well-being
While you may not always realize it when you’re in the midst of it, clutter can have a really negative impact on your life.
Clutter has been shown to cause significant amounts of stress and anxiety in your life. As well as negatively impact your happiness, contentment and quality of life.
On the other hand, clearing the clutter and removing the excess and the distractions from your home can have a really positive impact on your life and your well-being.
Sometimes you don’t even realize how heavy and burdened your stuff makes you feel until you start letting it go!
This post shares the ways decluttering can improve your overall health, happiness and well-being. And why decluttering is an important part of self-care!
